Our Infrastructure
Ink Manufacturing
Our main state-of-the-art ink manufacturing facility is located in the Manipal Industrial Area, Karnataka. Here, Westtek Enterprises produces a variety of Coatings, Flexo and Offset Inks, as well as Security Inks designed for anti-counterfeit solutions.
Innovation lab
Westtek Enterprises houses an advanced innovation research and development lab equipped with:
High quality analysis tools for spectroscopy, microscopy, rheometry, chromatography, surface analysis etc.;
Design and prototyping tools from specialised CAD software to specially constructed printers and curing systems; and
Testing equipment to test the security, safety, and performance of new products under a variety of environmental and stress conditions.
Logistics
We can work with client’s transporter or handle the complete delivery logistics till the client’s desired location on DAP basis. For small orders we will ship the goods by commercial couriers, unless otherwise specified by the client.

Mr Sudhish Rao
CEO – Westtek Private Limited
Sudhish Rao has successfully helmed Westtek Enterprises Limited (WEPL) since its inception through personal example. His vision of building WEPL into India’s foremost ink manufacturer through constant innovation, high quality customer service, and sensible technology adaptation has been a strong contributor to the company’s outstanding growth.
Beyond inks, Sudhish is leading a transformative mission to position the company as a leading supplier of specialised chemicals. Under his leadership, the company has already expanded into new markets and quickly made its mark in innovative products such as security printing inks and coatings. Mr. Rao is committed to expanding Westtek global reach and propelling the company to new heights in the specialised chemical industry.
Before joining Westtek, Sudhish worked at the highest echelons of Manipal Technologies Ltd. for over 20 years. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology.
Dr. Shivananda Wagle
General Manager - New Product Development
Dr. Shivananda Wagle leads new product development at Westtek. An innovative and highly knowledgeable chemist, Dr. Wagle has achieved remarkable milestones in the development of security and speciality inks for highly confidential projects. His exceptional problem-solving and mentoring skills helped build the original resource pool of talented engineers and scientists that today are the beating heart to support our innovative mindset.
Beyond his technical proficiency Dr. Wagle is an excellent strategist and is part of the core team at Westtek to forge key strategic partnerships and enable new directions for the company.
Before joining Westtek Dr. Wagle spent a decade at Manipal Technologies Limited, where he played a pivotal role in that company’s successes in the creation of Printed Electronics and speciality chemicals products. Dr. Wagle holds a Ph.D from the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal.
Mr. Prabir Ghosh
Head of technology
Prabir joined Westtek in 2022 to lead the technology and application functions. He has been pivotal in steering Westtek towards new horizons of success, innovation, and excellence. He is a 24 year veteran of the printing Inks and Coating industry, and has an acknowledged expertise in R&D and production of water-based and UV-cured inks and coatings for Offset, Flexo, and Screen-Printing applications.
Prabir’s “lead from the front” attitude is visible in every facet of product development, tailoring solutions to meet customer requirements, achieving precise colour matching, optimising processes, modifying products for enhanced performance, or devising cost-reducing initiatives through reformulation.
Mr. Anupam Narendra Sinha
Head of Marketing and Sales
Anupam has been a consummate Printing Ink industry specialist for the past 25 years, working across Technical Sales, Application Engineering, and Design. As Head of Marketing & Sales he embodies the “Consultant Sales Professional” persona, combining technical depth and solutioning skills with outstanding analytical and communication skills. His deep understanding of clients’ key motivators and pain points has enabled Westtek to win not just new business, but long term confidence of its clients and partners
